Born in Hazel Crest, Illinois, and raised in Glenwood, Illinois, Dr. Racheal Daniels is passionate about delivering compassionate, knowledge-driven care that empowers patients to take charge of their health. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Savannah State University in Savannah, Georgia, graduating Magna Cum Laude as both a PRISM and MARC-U-STAR scholar. She went on to attend the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts, where she earned recognition on both the President’s and Dean’s Lists, before completing her Family Medicine Residency at the University of Alabama’s Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Program.
From an early age, Dr. Daniels knew she wanted a career that combined detail, analysis, and observation—qualities she now brings to her work in medicine. She views her role as a physician as both a calling and a purpose, one that allows her to live in service to humanity, family, and community.
Dr. Daniels chose family medicine because it represents the “home base” of healthcare—a place where patients find knowledge, closure, and reassurance. She finds fulfillment in helping individuals understand their health and in providing clarity and peace of mind during challenging times.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Daniels enjoys organizing, reading, writing, and creating art through drawing, painting, and sketching. She comes from a large family as the youngest of six sisters and loves spending time with her many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
