Kenyatta Collins, M.S.N., F.N.P.-C. of AllCare Primary & Immediate Care appeared as a featured guest on “The Weekly Check-Up” on February 1, 2026. The show airs Sundays at 3 p.m. on 95.5 FM WSB and is hosted by Dr. Bruce Feinberg.

During the episode, Collins and Dr. Feinberg discussed the importance of family medicine as the foundation of healthcare. They explained that while today’s health system includes many specialists, primary care is key to optimizing healthcare resources, lowering costs, and improving access. Long wait times often push patients to emergency rooms for non-emergent concerns, increasing expenses and straining the system. Collins highlighted AllCare’s unique model of offering both primary and immediate care, including same-day, after-hours, weekend, and walk-in appointments to fit your busy schedule.

She also shared her path into healthcare. Originally planning to attend law school, Collins chose nursing to fulfill her passion for helping others. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Clayton State University and previously worked in the burn unit at Grady Hospital before joining AllCare in 2023. She currently practices at AllCare’s Reynoldstown location.

Patient stories were also discussed, including a 54-year-old man treated successfully for Helicobacter pylori after months of abdominal pain and a 26-year-old woman whose fatigue was linked to a vitamin D deficiency. Collins and Dr. Feinberg emphasized that many common urgent care visits such as upper respiratory infections, UTIs, sprains, and flu symptoms can often be effectively managed in primary care.

The episode also featured a caller question about accessing care from home, to which Collins explained that telemedicine services are available through AllCare.
