At AllCare, care is personal. Our providers build lasting relationships with patients, creating a one-on-one experience rooted in trust, compassion, and understanding.

That’s why this Mother’s Day, we’re shining a light on the providers who are also mothers. They bring more than clinical expertise to their work—they bring the perspective of someone who knows what it means to advocate, to nurture, and to care deeply for others.

Their voices matter. By elevating their stories, we recognize the unique empathy and insight they offer—and reaffirm our commitment to delivering care that sees the whole person, every time.

Esther Russell, D.N.P., F.N.P.-C.

Esther Russell brings the heart of a mother to every patient interaction—something shaped by raising her three children. For Esther, balance is intentional: she prioritizes her family alongside her work and approaches each patient with the same care and respect she would want for her own loved ones.

Esther told us, “Being a mom is my very favorite role in life. It has taught me that being a parent can create strength you never knew you had. It has taught me what really matters in life. At work, I look at each patient knowing that they are a very important part of someone’s family too.”

That perspective carries into her practice, where she sees every patient as an important part of someone’s family. Her advice to fellow moms is simple but powerful: “The healthier you are mentally and physically, the better you are able to care for others and fully enjoy the time you spend with them.”

Meet Georgina Thompson, M.S.N., F.N.P.-C.

Georgina Thompson brings the perspective of a busy, devoted mom of five (ranging in age from 5 to 24) into every aspect of her care.

When asked about how she balances her career in healthcare with being a mom, Georgina said, “Choosing a position that allows me to care for my patients as family, while still allowing me time to prioritize my own family and their needs was important when coming to AllCare. Being able to serve the community while maintaining the flexibility to care for my family is invaluable.”

Motherhood has taught her to embrace the unexpected with grace—“smile and go with the flow”—and to not get caught up in life’s smaller stressors. That mindset carries into her work, where compassion and adaptability go hand in hand. Her advice to other moms is a powerful reminder: prioritizing your own health is essential, because taking care of yourself is what gives you the energy and longevity to truly be present for your children.
