She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Middle Tennessee State University before completing her Master of Medical Science at Lincoln Memorial University–DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (DCOM) and her Doctor of Medical Science at Southern Illinois University.
Driven by a desire to bridge gaps in healthcare beyond clinical knowledge, Crystal chose her career to focus on compassionate, patient-centered medicine. She believes that truly listening to patients and making them feel heard is a vital part of the healing process. Her goal is to help patients not only feel better physically but also feel valued and supported throughout their health journey.
Crystal was drawn to primary care for the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients and understand their health within the full context of their lives. She finds deep fulfillment in being the first point of contact and a consistent advocate for her patients’ overall well-being. For her, the most rewarding part of her work is helping patients feel seen and heard while providing comfort and validation through attentive, empathetic care.
Outside of the clinic, Crystal enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, reading, baking, and hiking. In addition to her clinical role, she serves as a professor in a Physician Assistant program in the Atlanta area, where she helps train future PAs for primary care and rural medicine.
